More details about new offerings are expected before the opening
DUBAI – Global Village Dubai will reopen on October 14 for its 31st season, bringing back one of the UAE’s most popular family entertainment destinations.
The new season, themed ‘A More Wonderful World’, will run until May 2027. Organisers have also teased new attractions and experiences, with further details expected to be announced ahead of the opening.
The announcement marks another milestone for the Dubai destination, which first opened in 1997 and has welcomed more than 100 million guests over more than three decades. Season 31 is expected to build on the mix of cultural pavilions, live entertainment, shopping, dining and amusement attractions that has made Global Village a major part of Dubai’s winter calendar.
New additions
Global Village has not yet disclosed the complete line-up for the upcoming season but has confirmed that new additions will join returning fan-favourite attractions.
Last season featured 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, giving visitors access to thousands of products and experiences from around the world. The destination also hosted more than 3,500 shopping outlets and over 250 dining options during Season 30.
The destination’s Carnaval amusement area added another major attraction for families and visitors, featuring more than 200 rides and games.
Shows and entertainment
Entertainment remained a key part of the previous season, with 450 performers taking part in 40,500 shows. The programme brought together live performances and cultural experiences alongside the destination’s shopping and dining areas.
Global Village attracts visitors from across the UAE as well as international travellers, offering a broad combination of cultural showcases, entertainment, retail and food experiences within its outdoor destination in Dubai.
For Season 31, the destination is expected to reveal more information about its enhanced offerings and new experiences in the coming weeks.
Entry tickets during the previous season cost Dh25 on weekdays from Sunday to Thursday, while an any-day or weekend ticket from Friday to Saturday cost Dh30. Further ticketing details for Season 31 are expected ahead of the October 14 reopening.
